The Ministry of Health in Uganda has today confirmed the highest number of people who have recovered from COVID19 in one day.
According to the Ministry, 787 Ugandans have defeated the virus in the last 24 hours rising the country’s cumulative recoveries to 56,338 as of today 5th July 2021.
The Ministerial statistics also confirmed that 480 Ugandans contracted COVID19 from 4,644 sample testes done on 3rd July 2021 representing 10.3% of the day’s tested samples.
The new cases rose the cumulative confirmed cases in the country to 84,116 from 1,359,790 samples tested since the outbreak in March 2020.
